Letourneau’s Compounding Pharmacy is proud to carry both manual and electric patient hoyer lifts. As certain health conditions progress, an individual may no longer have the ability to ambulate or contribute to standing transfers. For many families, keeping a loved one at home is a top priority, and a patient lift can become an invaluable tool in doing so safely.  

In addition to the lift, patient slings must also be purchased. While we are not able to advise on transfer techniques, LCP can help you select the right style and size of patient sling depending on the patient’s size and needs.

We always have staff available to help review our patient lifts; however, these units are kept at our additional storage office. Will Medicare pay for a patient hoyer lift?

It is our understanding that Medicare can cover a manual hoyer lift on a rental basis only. Unfortunately, we do not offer manual lifts in our rental fleet, so all patient hoyer lifts through LCP are out of pocket expenses only. For additional questions, we recommend contacting Medicare directly for more information.

Delivery and Service

All delivery, set up, and repair services are provided by Letourneau’s Compounding Pharmacy staff members. We are very selective with our vendors and only partner with manufacturers that provide the highest quality products and services. We also offer in-house full-service repair by certified technicians!
