There are many medical conditions that require the addition of a hospital bed into the home environment, with a wide variety of clinical considerations to think about during the process. We are now pleased to offer the Flexabed line in-store at Letourneau’s Compounding Pharmacy. Based in Georgia, Flexabed manufactures adjustable beds that offer all of the same features and accessories as a traditional homecare hospital bed but visually resembles a non-medical bed. Even better, Flexabed offers a variety of sizes including twin, full, queen, king and split-king. Just because someone may need a hospital bed doesn’t mean mom and dad can’t sleep side by side any longer!

We always have staff available to help review our Flexabed hospital beds; however, we keep several of Flexabed’s most popular mattresses in stock at our additional storage office. To best maximize the value of your visit, we encourage you to schedule an appointment below in advance so that we can have each mattress option available for your review!

Will Medicare pay for your bed?

Through other participating providers, Medicare can still sometimes offer coverage towards the cost of a hospital bed, but only on a rental basis. Medicare has never contributed toward new hospital beds, and as a consequence, the selection process is very limited. Many individuals or families prefer to make a choice based on all the options that are available, not just what Medicare is interested in providing. We understand the importance of this decision, and we’re here to help make sure the right one is made!

Delivery and Service

All delivery, set up, and repair services are provided by Letourneau’s Compounding Pharmacy staff members. We are very selective with our vendors and only partner with manufacturers that provide the highest quality products and services. We also offer in-house full-service repair by certified technicians!
